The entire F1 world is stirred up by Nico Rosberg’s surprise retirement announcement, which left Mercedes in a tough position regarding the driver line-up. The big question is: who will replace Rosberg as Lewis Hamilton’s teammate in 2017?
Mercedes plans to announce Rosberg’s replacement by the end of the year. Although testing for 2017 does not start until February 27, Mercedes is keen to find a new partner for Hamilton before the end of 2016 so that the new team member will have as much time as possible to learn the set-up.
